Finding Kennedy-Prototype Series, Book 2 by Jacinta Howard

A Review By: DWP

When Kennedy James unexpectedly shows up at her grandma's house in Tyler, Texas, no one knows what to make of her arrival - including her. The only thing Kennedy does know is that something in her life has to change, and it needs to happen right now. She's been numb for much too long.

Then she meets Travis Broussard, the perceptively cool guitarist of the indie soul band The Prototype. The timing couldn't be worse, but their attraction is instant, magnetic, and at times overwhelming, causing Kennedy to question if it's possible to feel too much.

As Kennedy attempts to embark on a new path, she finds herself at a crossroads. But if she chooses to follow her heart, is she prepared to deal with what she might find?

An installment in a Series? Yes

Narrator (s): Wesleigh Siobhan, Jakobi Diem

Book two in this series did not disappoint. Kennedy and Travis both had a story to tell, and the way Jacinta told this story was so beautiful and moving. No matter the struggles they may face, true love and soul mates will find their way together.

Wesleigh Siobhan became sweet and innocent Kennedy. She doesn’t even feel like the same woman that read Jersey. Kennedy’s shyness and insecurities came through in Wesleigh’s voice. She did a phenomenal job bring Kennedy to life. Jakobi Diem had no issues showing Travis’s lowkey confidence. Having met Travis through Jersey I had an idea of what he would sound like and be like and Jakobi did not disappoint. Not only did he do a fantastic job with Travis he gave all the guys their own voice and identities. Jakobi and Wesleigh never disappoint on their own, but together they are pure magic. However, Wesleigh's Louisiana accent had to grow on me, and Jakobi's Louisiana accent wasn't my favorite.
