Isis is playing hard to get and Freedom is determined to get her.

Kema B. wrote a great story in Freedom and Isis. The characters had substance and purpose, drawing you into their world. I love Freedom on his grown man ish; he knew what he wanted as soon as he saw Isis, understood her game, and was willing to play by her rules on the surface. He’s handsome, sexy, has swag for days, is successful and doesn’t conform to the celebrity of his fame. He experienced the worst life had to offer and was ready for the best with the right one.

The man is loyal and determined…patient, but has his limits and Isis cleverly tests those limits. As women reading romance, we fawn over these men because they are the vision we dream and read out loud, but I love Isis’s character. Her confidence and security embracing her sexuality in who she is, is undervalued as a women not conforming to the norm of what tradition or societal acceptance says she should be.
Isis unapologetically lived her life, and in doing so, did what she felt she had to do to protect what’s important to her…her heart!

I enjoyed the way Isis handlds Freedom on her terms until she was ready to make the choice for herself and that’s exactly what Free gave her, a choice, instead of deciding for her. As much as Isis tried to avoid it, love is a powerful thing that’s unavoidable in whatever form it’s presented; it’s as necessary as breathing, and as humans, we are not meant to be alone. We need connections to other humans and their connection was strong and unbreakable.

If you’re reading this review, I highly suggest you get a copy of this book. This is a beautifully written, erotically enticing, engaging plot and storyline that will definitely keep you tuned in ffor more, and I’m hoping this turns into a series and gives the story of Frankie, Pope, Black (really want this story), and Isis’ siblings. Wishful thinking.

The narration was perfection. Wesleigh Siobhan and Emmanuel Ingram brought this book to life! My only issue is that the story wasn’t long enough, I wanted more!
