First of all, you have to hear Sharif say Lil Mama. I had that on repeat a few times. His voice is so sexy to me!
I wanted something easy and romantic and Red was the perfect find, the perfect read and the perfect example of a beautiful love story that made me swoon and cheer listening to this love at first sight romance.
Lehana was a lonely woman who had nothing and no one, was lied to all her life and used while being treated like a stepchild by her bitter grandmother until she met…him and decided to give herself a night deserving of a Queen. A night that changed her life.
Kashmir had it all but knew he was missing something amazing, a pivotal moment in his life when he laid eyes on…her. A woman that made him put her in the center of his world, unapologetically with no exceptions.
I love the meet cute between Kashmir and Lehana, the instant familiarity in their eyes, the magnet pull in their touch and the passion in their desire for each other. When a man loves a woman like this there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to have and keep her. This story was enduring, sweet, steamy and delicious.
Kashmir and Lehana’s journey was fast but didn’t skip a beat and the narration by Wesleigh Siobhan and Sharif Stevens was like a warm blanket fresh out the dryer. Wesleigh can never miss and Stevens was new to me but his voice wrapped around my ears and pulled me into his deep melodic baritone that made my ears pulse in excitement. This tandem is a must, this story is a must and you listening to the audio is a must.
